Overview
PAC Group was selected to perform construction services for a new storage building on the West side of Hartford. The project consisted of removing a single story structure off an existing concrete foundation and the construction of a new 59,000 sq. ft. self storage facility. PAC Group was responsible for hazardous material remediation including trash removal from the basement and first floor. PAC Group also made modifications to the existing foundation in preparation for the 5 story steel structure. PAC Group was also instrumental in value engineering the elevator to save the owner over $175,000. The scope of work also includes: masonry, stucco, EIFS, a new elevator, electrical, mechanical and fire protection systems as well as all the storage units. For the project, we worked closely with Russell and Dawson who provided architecture, engineering and construction administration services.
